10 tháng năm 2021, kim ngạch thương mại Việt Nam – Hàn Quốc đạt 63 tỷ USD, tăng 17,6% so với cùng kỳ năm 2020; trong đó, kim ngạch xuất khẩu của Việt Nam sang Hàn Quốc đạt 17,9 tỷ USD, tăng 11,5%.
Nhằm tiếp tục đẩy mạnh quan hệ hợp tác thương mại và đầu tư giữa Việt Nam và Hàn Quốc, Cục Xúc tiến thương mại (Bộ Công Thương) vừa phối hợp với Hiệp hội Dệt may Việt Nam, Hiệp hội Da – Giầy – Túi xách Việt Nam, Cơ quan Xúc tiến Đầu tư Thương mại Hàn Quốc (KOTRA), Hiệp hội Dệt may Hàn Quốc và các cơ quan hữu quan tổ chức Hội nghị giao thương trực tuyến Kết nối doanh nghiệp Việt Nam – Hàn Quốc trong lĩnh vực dệt may, da giày.
Hội nghị giao thương trực tuyến lần này là sự kiện mang đến những thông tin cập nhật mới nhất về tình hình hợp tác giữa Việt Nam và Hàn Quốc trong lĩnh vực dệt may da giày cũng như giới thiệu thông tin tiềm năng xuất nhập khẩu và nhu cầu đầu tư của cộng đồng các doanh nghiệp Việt Nam và Hàn Quốc.
Ông Lê Hoàng Tài – Phó Cục trưởng Cục Xúc tiến thương mại cho biết, trong những năm qua, quan hệ Việt Nam và Hàn Quốc không ngừng phát triển toàn diện, sâu rộng và thực chất trên nhiều lĩnh vực.
Đặc biệt, Hàn Quốc hiện là đối tác kinh tế quan trọng hàng đầu của Việt Nam, đứng đầu về vốn đầu tư đầu tư nước ngoài (FDI), đứng thứ ba thương mại trong năm 2020.
Tính riêng 10 tháng năm 2021, kim ngạch thương mại Việt Nam – Hàn Quốc đạt 63 tỷ USD, tăng 17,6% so với cùng kỳ năm 2020; trong đó, kim ngạch xuất khẩu của Việt Nam sang Hàn Quốc đạt 17,9 tỷ USD, tăng 11,5% so với cùng kỳ năm 2020.
Ngoài ra, kim ngạch nhập khẩu của Việt Nam từ Hàn Quốc đạt 45,1 tỷ USD, tăng 20,2% so với cùng kỳ năm 2020, xuất khẩu các sản phẩm dệt may đạt 26,9 tỷ USD, dự báo cả năm 2021 đạt khoảng 33,9 tỷ USD; xuất khẩu da giày đạt 14,24 tỷ USD và với công suất cao như hiện nay, cả năm có thể đạt 18,52 tỷ USD.
Do vậy, ông Lê Hoàng Tài kỳ vọng qua sự kiện này, các bên sẽ trao đổi cởi mở, tìm hiểu rõ hơn về nhu cầu hợp tác, năng lực, trao đổi các cơ hội hợp tác kinh doanh giữa các doanh nghiệp Việt Nam và Hàn Quốc hướng tới xây dựng chuỗi giá trị liên kết sản xuất các sản phẩm dệt may, da giày Việt Nam – Hàn Quốc bền vững và hiệu quả. Điều này sẽ góp phần nâng cao tổng kim ngạch thương mại hai chiều giữa Việt Nam và Hàn Quốc hướng tới mục tiêu đạt 100 tỷ USD vào năm 2023.
Chia sẻ thêm tại hội nghị, ông Kyoung Don Kim – Trưởng phòng Xúc tiến đầu tư – Cơ quan Xúc tiến Đầu tư Thương mại Hàn Quốc tại Hà Nội cho biết, Hàn Quốc là quốc gia số 1 trong đầu tư vào ngành dệt may ở Việt Nam.
Từ năm 1989 đến năm 2019 có 464 công ty dệt may của Hàn Quốc, chiếm hơn 25% vốn FDI đầu tư vào Việt Nam. Trong khi đó, Việt Nam là đối tác thương mại lớn thứ 2 của Hàn Quốc trong lĩnh vực dệt may, là điểm đến đầu tư nước ngoài lớn nhất.
