Theo thống kê của Hiệp hội dệt may Việt Nam (Vitas), cả nước có khoảng 7.000 doanh nghiệp dệt may, 80% là doanh nghiệp vừa và nhỏ, 40% là doanh nghiệp FDI, ngành sử dụng 3 triệu lao động, 70% năng lực của ngành dành cho sản xuất.
1. Nhiều thách thức mới
Tại hội thảo “Số hoá dệt may” mới đây, bà Nguyễn Thị Tuyết Mai, Phó Tổng thư ký Vitas cho biết ngành dệt may Việt Nam đang đứng trước nhiều thách thức lớn.
Từ giữa năm 2022 đơn hàng bắt đầu có dấu hiệu giảm sút mạnh do lạm phát toàn cầu tăng cao, xung đột chính trị phức tạp. Bước sang quý 1/2023 tình hình vẫn chưa có gì sáng sủa. Tổng kim ngạch xuất khẩu toàn ngành đạt 8,7 tỷ USD, sụt giảm gần 19% so với cùng kỳ năm 2022.
Đặc biệt, ưu thế lao động của Việt Nam không còn rẻ nữa nên có hiện tượng rải đơn hàng tới những nước lao động rẻ như Bangladesh.
Bên cạnh đó là thách thức do chi phí năng lượng và logistics cao, yêu cầu truy xuất nguốc gốc, quy tắc xuất xứ từ những Hiệp định thương mại tự do (FTA), vấn đề phát triển bền vững, biến đổi khí hậu…
Hơn nữa, hầu hết các nước nhập khẩu đều yêu cầu phải giảm dấu chân carbon. Đơn cử, EU đang muốn áp thuế lên những sản phẩm gây ra hiệu ứng khí nhà kính. Những sản phẩm xuất khẩu vào EU yêu cầu thiết kế có tuổi thọ lâu dài, có thể tái chế, tái sử dụng được sản phẩm để giảm tiêu thụ tài nguyên, giảm gây hiệu ứng nhà kính, giảm sử dụng nước và hóa chất độc hại…
Ngoài ra, Hoa Kỳ yêu cầu những doanh nghiệp dệt may xuất khẩu vào thị trường này phải đảm bảo không xuất xứ từ bông Tân Cương – nơi mà một số quốc gia như Mỹ và EU cho rằng đang sử dụng lao động cưỡng bức.

2. Từ khoá “phát triển bền vững”, “chuyển đổi số”
Mới đây Chính phủ đã quyết định thông qua Chiến lược phát triển ngành dệt may và da giày. Theo đó, mục tiêu tổng quát nhằm phát triển ngành dệt may và da giầy là ngành chủ lực về xuất khẩu của nền kinh tế.
Đẩy mạnh sản xuất các sản phẩm có chất lượng, có năng lực cạnh tranh cao trên thị trường quốc tế, đáp ứng các nhu cầu của thị trường trong nước, giữ vững vị trí trong nhóm các quốc gia sản xuất và xuất khẩu sản phẩm dệt may, da giầy hàng đầu thế giới.
Nhờ có chiến lược, ngành dệt may Việt Nam có thể phát triển nhanh trong 15 năm tới và từ nay đến năm 2030 chúng ta định hướng phát triển ngành theo hướng bền vững và hướng tới nền kinh tế tuần hoàn.
Từ năm 2031-2035 phát triển theo mô hình kinh tế tuần hoàn. Hoàn thiện chuỗi cung ứng nội khối. Tham gia vào chuỗi cung ứng toàn cầu ở giá trị cao. Trong xuất khẩu, chú trọng xây dựng thương hiệu riêng chứ không phải theo thương hiệu của người khác như hiện nay.
Để đạt những mục tiêu trên cần có nhiều giải pháp. Trong đó, “phát triển bền vững”, “chuyển đổi số”, “truy xuất nguồn gốc”, “tính minh bạch” là những từ khóa và là xu hướng ngành dệt may phải thực hiện.
Bà Nguyễn Thị Tuyết Mai nhấn mạnh, một trong những giải pháp mang tính chất quyết định đó là ứng dụng số hóa trong ngành dệt may.
Chính giải pháp này sẽ giúp các bộ phận kết nối với nhau, tăng năng suất lao động, giảm chi phí, nâng cao năng lực cạnh tranh của doanh nghiệp trong thị trường nội địa và quốc tế, giúp tiến nhanh đến thị trường mục tiêu, thu hút khách hàng. Tuy nhiên, theo đại diện Vitas, đến nay việc đưa công nghệ số vào quản lý trong ngành dệt may vẫn còn khiêm tốn.
“Điều này chỉ có thể làm được khi có quyết tâm của lãnh đạo, đặc biệt phải có nguồn nhân lực thích ứng. Đây cũng là giải pháp cần thiết để phát triển bền vững”, bà Mai nhận định.
Nếu ngành dệt may không tập trung áp dụng những công nghệ tiên tiến sẽ không thể tăng năng suất, giảm chi phí và tăng khả năng cạnh tranh cũng như phát triển bền vững cho doanh nghiệp.
Hiện đã có nhiều doanh nghiệp dệt may ứng dụng công nghệ 4.0 vào thiết kế và sản xuất, như TNG, Faslink… Bà Trần Hoàng Phú Xuân, Tổng giám đốc Công ty CP Kết nối thời trang (Faslink), cho biết đã có 15% đơn hàng hoàn toàn từ ứng dụng thiết kế style 3D. Công nghệ này giúp tiết giảm về thời gian, chi phí sản xuất, tăng lợi nhuận cho doanh nghiệp.
