Vào sáng 8/2, Chủ tịch Quốc hội Vương Đình Huệ đã có buổi đến thăm Tập đoàn Dệt may Việt Nam trong ngày đầu Xuân mới Nhâm Dần. Phát biểu tại buổi gặp mặt, Chủ tịch Quốc hội cho biết, năm 2021 là năm thử thách khắc nghiệt nhất đối với hoạt động sản xuất kinh doanh của các doanh nghiệp do tác động của đại dịch Covid – 19.
Vì là một trong những ngành thâm dụng lao động, nên các doanh nghiệp dệt may đã phải chịu tác động tiêu cực nặng nề của dịch bệnh. Thế nhưng, bất chấp các khó khăn, ngành dệt may không những trụ vững mà còn đạt được những kết quả phát triển hết sức ấn tượng.
Cụ thể, kim ngạch xuất khẩu đạt trên 40,4 tỷ USD, tăng trưởng gần 15%, vượt mức tăng trưởng của năm 2019 dù 19 tỉnh phía Nam gần như phải ngừng sản xuất trong suốt quý 3/2021. Đặc biệt, ngành dệt may Việt Nam vẫn giữ được vị trí quan trọng trong chuỗi cung ứng toàn cầu.
Trong thành công chung của ngành, Tập đoàn Dệt may Việt Nam đã giữ vững và phát huy được vai trò đầu tàu, hạt nhân, đạt kết quả tốt nhất trong vòng 25 năm trở lại đây, thậm chí có bước phát triển nhảy vọt khi lợi nhuận năm 2021 ước trên 1.440 tỷ đồng (gấp 2,5 lần năm 2020), đạt tỷ suất lợi nhuận trên vốn gần 29% và vượt 90% kết quả của năm 2019 – là năm có kết quả hoạt động tốt nhất trước đại dịch.
Tập đoàn đã duy trì việc làm cho toàn bộ lao động với thu nhập bình quân trên 8,2 triệu đồng/người/tháng. Ngay cả trong giai đoạn thực hiện Chỉ thị 15 ở các tỉnh phía Nam, Tập đoàn vẫn cố gắng duy trì lương tối thiểu vùng cho người lao động không thể đi làm, chăm lo tốt cho người lao động dịp Tết với mức thưởng Tết bình quân đạt trên 14 triệu đồng/người, hàng chục nghìn lao động được nhận quà tết của Công đoàn Dệt may và các Công đoàn cơ sở.
Trước những kết quả mà ngành đã đạt được, Chủ tịch Quốc hội cho rằng, ngành dệt may, trong đó có Tập đoàn Dệt may Việt Nam đã làm nên những điều kỳ diệu.
“Càng trong khó khăn, thử thách thì càng có sức bật mạnh mẽ. Thành công của ngành dệt may và Tập đoàn Dệt may Việt Nam là minh chứng hết sức sinh động cho sức sống mãnh liệt và tinh thần linh hoạt, đổi mới sáng tạo của doanh nghiệp Việt Nam nói riêng và dân tộc Việt Nam nói chung, trong điều kiện hội nhập quốc tế ngày càng sâu rộng và cạnh tranh ngày càng gay gắt”, Chủ tịch Quốc hội cho biết.
Theo Chủ tịch Quốc hội, dệt may Việt Nam không thể cứ gia công mãi mà phải phát triển ngành công nghiệp thời trang, hướng ra thị trường quốc tế.
Sang năm 2022, Chủ tịch Quốc hội cho rằng, cộng đồng doanh nghiệp Việt Nam cần tiếp tục cố gắng, nỗ lực vượt bậc và thực chất hơn nữa. Người đứng đầu Quốc hội đặc biệt lưu ý, các doanh nghiệp “tuyệt đối không được ngủ quên trên vòng nguyệt quế”, chủ động thích ứng với sự thay đổi của dòng vốn đầu tư toàn cầu và chuỗi cung ứng khu vực, toàn cầu.
Chủ tịch Quốc hội Vương Đình Huệ nhận định, cùng với thị trường xuất khẩu, phải chú trọng hơn nữa thị trường nội địa, với quy mô 100 triệu dân, đang có nhu cầu rất lớn cả về số lượng và chất lượng các sản phẩm may mặc, thời trang thì đây là thị trường lớn và hết sức tiềm năng.
“Chúng ta cần xây dựng thương hiệu thời trang Việt Nam, từ thị trường nội địa hướng ra thị trường quốc tế. Dệt may Việt Nam không thể cứ gia công mãi mà phải phát triển ngành công nghiệp thời trang”, Chủ tịch Quốc hội cũng nhấn mạnh.
Để làm được điều đó, Chủ tịch Quốc hội cho rằng, Tập đoàn Dệt may Việt Nam cần tích cực, chủ động tận dụng mọi cơ hội từ gói chính sách tài khoá, tiền tệ hỗ trợ phục hồi kinh tế – xã hội vừa được Quốc hội thông qua tại Kỳ họp bất thường lần thứ Nhất và Nghị quyết số 11 ngày 30/1/2022 của Chính phủ.
“Chúng ta phải nhận thức được ngành dệt may luôn có vai trò quan trọng trong nền kinh tế và rất quan trọng trong tiến trình phục hồi kinh tế của năm 2022.
