Các nhà máy thuộc Tập đoàn Dệt may có mức lương bình quân mỗi tháng cho công nhân mới vào khoảng 8 triệu đồng.
“Nhiều nhà máy đã lắp đầy đơn hàng đến hết quý 3 nên bao nhiêu cũng tuyển, không giới hạn số lượng. Thế nhưng kiếm người cực kỳ khó”, bà Thủy nói. Dệt may, da giày là hai ngành dùng nhiều lao động nhất trong các ngành kinh tế của Việt Nam. Trong đó, dệt may có khoảng 2 triệu lao động, chiếm 25% toàn ngành chế biến chế tạo. Con số này ở ngành da dày là hơn 1,4 triệu, chiếm tỷ lệ trên 18%.
Bà Phan Thị Thanh Xuân, Phó chủ tịch Hiệp hội Da – Giày – Túi xách Việt Nam (Lefaso), nói đơn hàng dồi dào nhưng thiếu lao động, khó tuyển mới là tình trạng chung của hơn 2.000 doanh nghiệp trong ngành. Có những nhà máy rao tuyển vài nghìn lao động nhưng ròng rã 2-3 tháng chỉ tuyển được vài trăm nên phải xoay xở đủ kiểu mới có thể hoàn thành đơn hàng.
Với chỉ tiêu tuyển mới 500 công nhân may, thu nhập mỗi tháng hơn 8 triệu đồng nhưng gần hai tháng qua, nhà máy Thời trang G.M (Đồng Nai) chưa tuyển đủ số lượng. Ngoài kết nối với trung tâm dịch vụ việc làm, bộ nhận nhân sự của nhà máy còn trực tiếp về các tỉnh, gặp từng người để tư vấn.
Bộ phận tuyển dụng công ty, cho hay ban giám đốc quyết định chi hơn một tỷ đồng để thưởng cho công nhân mới. Trong đó, lao động sẽ được nhận ngay một triệu đồng khi ký hợp đồng chính thức, hỗ trợ nhà trọ 6 triệu đồng. Suốt ba tháng đầu, công ty lo đủ ba bữa ăn sáng, trưa, tối. Căn tin nhà máy chuẩn bị sẵn các phần ăn, tan ca người lao động chỉ mang về phòng trọ để dùng.
Lý giải nguyên nhân khó tuyển lao động dù phúc lợi tốt, phía công ty cho rằng lao động trẻ muốn được tăng ca nhiều để thêm thu nhập.
