Bình quân mỗi năm, hai thị trường Mỹ và EU nhập khẩu khoảng 20 tỷ USD hàng dệt may từ Việt Nam. Trong khi đó, hoạt động sản xuất, kinh doanh của ngành dệt may lại phụ thuộc rất nhiều vào chính sách chống dịch trên thế giới nói chung và tại Việt Nam nói riêng.
Ngoài ra, tình hình thế giới vẫn đang diễn biến phức tạp, ảnh hưởng đến đà tăng giá năng lượng, nguyên, vật liệu. Đơn cử, trong 6 tháng đầu năm 2022, giá bông đã tăng 19% so với cùng kỳ năm ngoái.
Theo ông Cẩm, nửa đầu năm 2022, thị trường xuất khẩu phục hồi mạnh mẽ, nhưng từ cuối quý II, đã xuất hiện những biến động về thị trường, cộng với tình hình lạm phát trên thế giới, khiến đà tăng trưởng này chậm lại.
