Năm 2021 được nhận định là năm đầy khó khăn của ngành dệt may Việt Nam, tăng trưởng âm 9,8% năm 2020 khiến ngành dệt may bước vào năm 2021 với nhiều nỗi lo.
Doanh thu 2021 của các doanh nghiệp dệt may
Tuy nhiên với sự nỗ lực của các doanh nghiệp, ngành dệt may Việt Nam đã vượt qua khó khăn với kim ngạch xuất khẩu đạt 39 tỷ USD, tăng 11,2% so với năm 2020. Vượt qua Bangladesh, năm 2021, thị phần xuất khẩu dệt may của Việt Nam đã vươn lên vị trí thứ hai thế giới và được nhiều tổ chức quốc tế đánh giá ở vị trí cao nhất trong cơ hội phục hồi năm 2022.
Trên sàn niêm yết các doanh nghiệp dệt may cũng đã đồng loạt công bố kết quả kinh doanh đầy ấn tượng trong năm 2021.
Về doanh thu, dẫn đầu ngành thuộc về ông lớn Vinatex (VGT) khi đạt doanh thu 16.094 tỷ đồng tăng gần 16% so với năm 2020. Tiếp đó các doanh nghiệp dệt may ở khu vực phía Bắc như May Sông Hồng (MSH), TNG, Gilimex, Dệt may Hoà Thọ …đều đạt mức tăng trưởng về doanh thu 2 con số.

Lãi tăng cao nhất trong nhóm này phải kể đến Mirae (KMR), Hanosimex (HSM) và Dệt may Hoà Thọ (HTG) với mức lợi nhuận tăng trưởng tính bằng lần.
