Khu phức hợp do Công ty cổ phần Tập đoàn Thái Tuấn đầu tư tại Long An lần này có nguồn vốn 16.000 tỉ đồng nhằm đầu tư vào chuỗi sản phẩm sản xuất công nghiệp sợi – dệt – hoàn tất – may mặc – da giày – phụ kiện thời trang.
Gần đây, Tập đoàn này cũng đã đầu tư nhiều dự án lớn khác tại Long An như Nhà máy hoàn tất sản phẩm may và may mặc Thái Tuấn tại KCN Phúc Long (huyện Bến Lức) với tổng vốn 1.200, dự án Nhà máy may công nghệ cao Thái Tuấn tại KCN Long Hậu (huyện Cần Giuộc) với vốn đầu tư 600 tỉ đồng, dự án Nhà máy sản xuất vải may mặc Thái Tuấn tại KCN Anh Hồng (huyện Đức Hoà) với tổng vốn đầu tư 3.000 tỉ đồng.
Theo ông Thanh, việc một nhà đầu tư rót vốn hơn 20.000 tỉ đồng vào các KCN tại Long An cho thấy tỉnh này đang tiếp tục là một trong những địa phương được các “đại bàng” chọn làm điểm đến.
Chỉ từ đầu năm 2022 đến nay, các KCN trên địa bàn tỉnh đã thu hút thêm được 48 dự án, với tổng vốn FDI là 283,18 triệu USD, vốn trong nước là 10.672 tỷ đồng. Đặc biệt, quán triệt theo sự chỉ đạo của đồng chí Bí thư Tỉnh ủy, nhằm tạo thuận lợi trong công tác thu hút đầu tư, Ban quản lý Khu kinh tế đã cấp giấy chứng nhận đăng kí đầu tư cho nhiều dự án trong vòng 1 ngày kể từ khi nộp hồ sơ theo quy định. Như Tập đoàn Thái Tuấn lần này cũng vậy, hồ sơ họ đưa vào đầy đủ và đã được cấp giấy chứng nhận ngay trong ngày.
Theo ông Trần Hoài Nam, Chủ tịch Hội đồng quản trị kiêm Tổng giám đốc Công ty Cổ phần Tập Đoàn Thái Tuấn, trong giai đoạn cao điểm của đại dịch COVID-19 đầy khó khăn, các doanh nghiệp luôn được sự quan tâm sâu sát, hỗ trợ tích cực của lãnh đạo tỉnh Long An.
