Các cán bộ phụ trách cung ứng vật tư y tế, mua sắm và bảo trì các trang thiết bị đều đứng giữa 2 yêu cầu chính đáng nhưng luôn đối nghịch nhau. Một mặt, phải lắng nghe và đáp ứng yêu cầu chuyên môn về việc có những vật tư, thiết bị y tế tốt nhất cho công tác chẩn đoán, điều trị và chăm sóc bệnh nhân.
