Nhu cầu chuyển đổi số trở nên cấp thiết để các doanh nghiệp đổi mới mô hình, chuyển dần các hoạt động kinh doanh trên nền tảng số, tìm kiếm thêm thị trường, cắt giảm chi phí, nâng cao hiệu quả hoạt động, khả năng cạnh tranh…”, ông Hùng nói.
Tuy nhiên, 60,1% doanh nghiệp tham gia khảo sát cho biết rào cản mà họ gặp phải khi áp dụng công nghệ số là bởi chi phí đầu tư, ứng dụng công nghệ còn cao. Nguyên nhân một phần là đại dịch khiến các doanh nghiệp gặp nhiều khó khăn về giảm doanh thu, thiếu hụt nguồn vốn. Những yếu tố này đã ảnh hưởng đến chi phí đầu tư, triển khai, duy trì các giải pháp cho chuyển đổi số.
Rào cản lớn thứ hai với doanh nghiệp là thay đổi thói quen, tập quán kinh doanh. Nhiều doanh nghiệp tham gia khảo sát cho biết chuyển đối số sẽ thay đổi thói quen và cách làm việc của người lao động. Một số doanh nghiệp đã ứng dụng phần mềm nhưng nhân viên không ứng dụng, hoặc chỉ ứng dụng một phần, khiến doanh nghiệp không đạt được mục tiêu đề ra. Khó khăn này thường gặp ở những công ty quy mô vừa và lớn có bộ máy, quy trình phức tạp hơn các doanh nghiệp nhỏ và siêu nhỏ.
