Với tính chất công việc quan trọng nhằm đảm bảo đúng tiến độ công việc và an toàn hiệu quả của kỳ bảo dưỡng sửa chữa tổng thể, PV Power đã giao Chi nhánh Tổng công ty Điện lực Dầu khí Việt Nam – CTCP – Trung tâm Dịch vụ Kỹ thuật (PV Power TSC) chủ trì việc thực hiện kỳ đại tu Tổ máy số 2. PV Power TSC đã huy động hầu hết các chuyên gia, kỹ sư về bảo dưỡng, vận hành có kinh nghiệm trải qua nhiều kỳ bảo dưỡng sửa chữa Nhà máy nhiệt điện triển khai thực hiện kỳ đại tu Tổ máy số 2 đảm bảo tiến độ, an toàn, hiệu quả.
Do ảnh hưởng của đại dịch Covid-19 nên công tác đại tu Tổ máy số 2 NMNĐ Vũng Áng 1 gặp không ít khó khăn. Bên cạnh vệc đảm bảo nhiệm vụ chuyên môn, công tác đảm bảo an toàn phòng dịch được Nhà máy đặt lên hàng đầu. Nhà máy đã xây dựng phương án cách ly y tế, lưu trú tập trung đối với nhân sự tham gia đại tu.
